Lee Friedlander (Seibu Museum of Art) was published on the occasion of the Lee Friedlander retrospective exhibition held in Japan under the auspices of the Seibu Museum of Art and the Asahi Shimbun. The book includes a portfolio from the photographer's Cherry Blossom Time in Japan series (previously published only in the 1986 special edition), and is one of the least known outstanding monographs of Friedlander's work.
